Rhyming Time

Isn't this the cutest video ever? Macie enjoys nursery rhymes and I finally got her reciting "Jack and Jill" on camera. Sorry about the color quality.

Olympic Spirit

Eventhough Macie was long-gone to bed when we watched the Olympic gymnasts, I think she may be a gymnast in the making. She appears to be entering a tumbling pass. Although she is quite talented, she still hasn't mastered a forward roll yet. But look at that form!

Summer Pictures

Since I've been so slow at documenting things this summer I'm doing a massive re-cap post.

I decided our new tradition on the 4th of July is going to Mimi's Cafe for breakfast. It is SO good!

We spent a nice afternoon at Lake Mead last month. Macie loves being on Grandpa's boat, especially honking the horn.

What I really love about Lake Mead is the water temperature. It always feels so nice!

We've been having a nice summer despite my pregnancy aches and pains. I've really tried to do as many things with Macie as I can since she'll be a little more on her own in a few weeks as a big sister.
